  • Targeted Support: Focused on students scoring below grade-level to boost their performance.

  • Mathematics Instruction: Fluency and grade-level content instruction from dedicated KIPP DC teachers.

AFTERNOON

DISCOVERY

At Camp KIPP DC, we aim to foster the holistic development of our campers. Each day, campers participate in our Discovery program, featuring a range of activities designed to enhance their social and emotional skills. Each session is guided by a specific daily value, allowing campers to broaden their minds, nurture their hearts, and strengthen their emotional intelligence.

INTENSIVES

Each afternoon, campers have the opportunity to participate in our intensive program, allowing them to "dive deep" into two activities over three consecutive days. For instance, a camper might choose a baseball intensive, where they receive hands-on, personalized instruction from our baseball counselors. This focused approach enables campers to enhance their existing skills while also learning new ones. Camp KIPP DC offers a diverse range of intensives to ensure that every camper can engage in an activity they love. While all other camp activities are co-ed and organized by age group, the intensive blocks bring together boys and girls from all age groups.
